when i first started aeki, i was only a broke student trying out a new side hustle. i noticed that students like me do not have the privilege to own a high quality shawl and we ended up buying cheaper alternative which only lasted for 2 seconds before the stitches became undone, or torn up or lost its colour. it's where we realized high quality and long lasting clothing pieces should be made affordable and accessible to all. 

we believe in thoughtful pieces and instilling belief. it’s at the core of everything we do—the starting point of our shawls, shirts, pants and skirts. at aeki, it is about celebrating confidence, creating memories and of course, having fun.
